The Fiddle Leaf Fig (Ficus lyrata) is a popular indoor plant known for its large, glossy, violin-shaped leaves. It is a statement plant that adds a bold, tropical look to any space.

Fiddle Leaf Fig Care Guide:

1. Light:

Thrives in bright, indirect light.

Can tolerate some direct sunlight but avoid harsh afternoon sun.

Rotate the plant occasionally to ensure even growth.

2. Watering:

Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil are dry.

Avoid overwatering, as it can cause root rot.

Use filtered or room-temperature water to prevent leaf damage.

3. Humidity & Temperature:

Prefers moderate to high humidity (40-60%).

Keep away from air vents, heaters, and cold drafts.

Ideal temperature: 18-26°C (65-80°F).

4. Soil:

Use well-draining potting mix, preferably with peat, perlite, or sand.

Ensure the pot has drainage holes.

5. Fertilization:

Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4 weeks during spring and summer.

Reduce feeding in winter.

6. Pruning & Maintenance:

Wipe leaves regularly to remove dust and allow proper photosynthesis.

Prune leggy stems to maintain shape and encourage new growth.

Repot every 2-3 years or when roots outgrow the pot.

7. Common Issues & Solutions:

Brown edges on leaves? → Low humidity or underwatering.

Drooping leaves? → Overwatering or poor drainage.

Yellowing leaves? → Possible root rot or overwatering.
