Guava Plant Care Tips:

Guava plants need full sun to grow well.Make sure they get at least 6-8 hours of sunlight daily.

Prefers well-drained, loamy soil with good organic content.pH should be slightly acidic to neutral (around 5 to 7).

*3. Watering:

Water regularly, especially when the plant is young.Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged.Once established, guava is somewhat drought-tolerant but will perform better with consistent moisture.

*4. Fertilizing:

Use a balanced fertilizer like NPK 10-10-10 during the growing season.Apply organic compost or cow dung manure for better fruit yield.

*5. Pruning:

Prune to shape the plant and remove dead or overcrowded branches.Helps in better airflow, sunlight penetration, and fruit production.

*6. Pests & Diseases:

Watch out for aphids, fruit flies, and mealybugs.Use neem oil spray or insecticidal soap for organic pest control.Ensure good air circulation to prevent fungal infections.

*7. Container Growing (if applicable):

Guava can also be grown in large containers (minimum 18–24 inches wide).Choose dwarf or hybrid varieties for containers.
